Very happy with the services provided. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fast reliable and cost effective moving company. I was moving from a home in which I have many fragile and valuable items that the movers handled them with great care and concern. I personally am very particular about who I let handle my belonging so finding a moving company that I felt confident in was a bit of a struggle but after discussing my move with AB my concerns were laid to rest. They truly are a top notch moving company and I will without a doubt be using them on my next move.

Website says the price is 97.00 and up, but I was charged 205.00 for 1 hour of work (due to the min 2 hour rule) and a trip fee.

I had to return to work and make up the 1 hr and 30 minutes I lost leaving work early in order to wait for the movers, plus the 1 hour it took to move when they finally arrived.

We moved from a second floor apartment to a third floor apartment. I'm no longer at an age where beer and pizza is for friends gets the job done so, I called in some professionals.

AB Moving caught my attention because of the good reviews and the reasonable prices.

I had the second move of the day, so we were scheduled to start between 10am-12pm. At about 11:15 I got a call from the movers telling me they were on their way and would be there soon. The official start time for the move (when the meter started for me paying them) was 11:30.

The reason why this is a five star review happened at the end of the move. I had been given a quote based on two hours. At about 1 hour and 45 minutes, it was clear not all of my furniture was going to be reassembled in the quoted time frame (not the fault of the movers, there were some geometric challenges getting furniture in and out of the apartments that slowed things down). The crew leader asked me if I wanted them to stick to the two hours (meaning I'd reassemble the furniture) or if I wanted them to stay longer (at added cost).

There are movers out there that would have jumped at the opportunity to pad the bill and work longer. I really do appreciate the fact my movers watched the clock and gave me the choice. Overall the service was great, the folks that set things up in the office were very professional and the prices were competitive. A great company for a local move!

There are only a few things that you want to know before hiring movers...but those things are VERY important. After getting jipped in a BIG way last year by my movers, I was determined to find some decent, honest movers that wouldn't break my pocket book.

Did they provide a quick and accurate quote? Yes..yes they did...with NO hidden fees or agenda's

Were they on time? Actually no, but how they handled it saved them from losing a star. I had to change my moving time at the last mnute due to hiccups getting my keys to the new place.....but they obliged to the change without any hassle at all. Unfortunately, one of their crews got help up at one of their locations....so they were running behind getting to us, but they offered us tons of other options they could do for us that day or even the next day...so that we were not inconvenienced any more than that. And they were polite, apologetic and sincere. And it turned out they were hardly late at all.....good business sense people, take notes!

Were they fast?? I was skeptical just how fast they would be with only a 3 man crew....cause I have a TON of stuff and the first location had the obstacles of elevators and LONG hallway walks.....yet, in less than 3 hours I was completely moved.

Were they expensive?? NOOOOOOO!!!! They were the best quote by far, and at the end they stayed true to their quote, and I paid less than I had budgeted for!! (last year my movers charged me 3 times the quote once the move was finished....so i was really careful this time)

NOthing was broken or scratched, they wrapped all the furniture, they were nice and polite......and I will use them again. As well as refer them to all my friends and family.

Make sure you keep all of your documentation. They'll add on charges at the last minute when you're cornered and cannot get anyone else. Their "President" Kenny is a phony and a first class snake in the grass. The movers, however, did an excellent job. Kenny's a liar and cannot be trusted!
