I've been a member at 24hour fitness for a few years now, but the locations are inconvenient. I tried Bally's out and at first they tried to charge me way more than what I pay for 24 hour fitness, after I didn't fall for the dummy bait they finally offered me a reasonable membership price. With the membership included 2 personal training sessions. I have NEVER been cancelled on so much in a 1 month period. Their trainers suck and the manager sucks because he ALLOWS them to provide such poor service. All of the equipment is outdated and the showers don't even drain properly. I would actually prefer the inconvenience of 24 hour fitness to this shoddy shack of a gym!!‎

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST ! I have been a member of Bally's for many years therefore my membership dues are very minimal. If not for this vey important fact, there is no way I would even consider being a member of their (Bally) fitness centers. The Redbird location in particular is a disgrace. The locker rooms are nasty and old, the lighting in the entire facility is dim and gloomy, and the cardio equipment is minimal, old, and outdated. The list goes on and on in regards to this club. Not being one to complain without taking action, I've contacted Corporate on several occasions attempting to get something done about this club. When I say something done, I'm referring to demolition and starting over. With a minor 10 min. drive (67 South), there are much better fitness centers to choose from, such as L A Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness in Desoto and Cedar Hill respectively. Once again, AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. Don't get trapped like like I have done. My membership is paid up for 3 years therefore I am kind of stuck. As you can see, this post is kind of lengthy so you should be able to tell that this problem is something that is near and dear to my heart. If there was ever a time when you could take reading something on the internet as gospel/fact, this would be the time. Stay away ! In fact join me in spreading the word. Maybe together, we can bring about change to this demoralizing situation.

Where to begin...This place is a disgrace to the other Bally's i've been to. From the outside it looks like a small nightclub and has cramped parking. Do not expect much better when you walk inside. The place is 2 stories and has a pool and sauna but its not much. As mentioned earlier there arent many treadmills, bikes, or climbers..in fact all of the machines look like they were from the 1980s! On top of that they have converted half of a racketball room for more space. Not a whole lot of room to workout/stretch at..everything seems to be so cramped in. Their free weight selection has alot to be desired (with missing weight sets and having weights stacked on top of each other!) Their classes run late and are misleading. Overall I would rather travel 30 minutes to Town East and workout than 5 minutes to this place. Avoid at all costs!

This place is a total waste. What gym only has 7 treadmills? Only this one. A waste of a gym. Looks dirty & grungy. If you go at its peak time you literally have to wait and use a machine. I dont pay my monthly dues to waste my time & wait to use a machine. They need to upgrade & move to a larger location. All other Ballys are much larger than this one.

Work Out Plan Kanye West: I have been a member here for about two months and I love it. I f you come a certain time the place is packed but If you have a busy schedule like me and you cant get in till late or real early in the morning then this the place were you need to be. The place is small and the can stand to update but everything is good for me.
