The AC has been out for weeks and weeks. All anyone on staff says is how they really want it fixed as well. You know they don't really care because they have you paying a membership fee so why should they be in a hurry to fix anything? Come on, any other place would be in a hurry to fix the air for customers; the staff just says how lucky we are its getting fixed this soon because of how badly it was vandalized. Imagine any other office or store waiting weeks....corporate bureaucracy!

I chose this gym for its convenient location, the pool and price. Pay the extra few dollars, pick a different location and go someplace else.

Ridiculous $32 annual fee per person to "maintain" my account! What does it take to maintain my name on a membership list and continue to bill me? That's just a way of raising the price. Don't remember this fee at sign up and if they mentioned it, I would assume it would be after I had been a member for a year.

They play the same songs over and over, the locker room smells and they know once you'd signed up, they have you.

I swear, I've been going to the Preston Rd. Location in Dallas for about a month (maybe 6 weeks) and I don't think they've cleaned the urinals in the men's locker room once. Smells like you'll die from ammonia fumes...piss all over the floor. Decent workout facility, but I think they've slashed their toilet scrubbing budget....nasty!‎

I have been a member of Bally Total Fitness since it began in the Dallas area....first joining President's First Lady which became Bally Total Fitness. I have been to many Bally locations over the 30 plus years that I have been a member, and you will get from Bally or any gym only what you invest in it personally. Showing up is key. At Bally North Dallas there is what I would call a Group Ex Dynasty. The fitness instructors and classes are stellar and there is something for everyone. This is not true at every gym you could join. Bally Total Fitness is very unprofessional and terribly managed. I am trying to cancel my membership out of frustration and I can't even cancel my membership at their gymn. I have to call them and mail them the request. Their phone lines for cancellation never work and I have been trying to call them for two days with no response. Don't go to Bally's even if it's free. They'll find a way to steal money from you.‎
