I enrolled my child in Cornerstone a year ago because everyone in the area seemed to think it was the best...but I have not found that at all. I was given an impressive ciriculum when I first me with them yet it has not been followed at all from what I can tell. They say teach the kids Spanish and they will be reading by the time they are 4 and a half...not at all true. I think this facility is just full of glorified babysitters. They aren't teaching my child anything. On top of that, there have been several occasions where problems arose and I SHOULD have been contacted...yet they never called me. I feel like I am completely left out of the loop. In addition to charging the highest tuition in the city, they have you pay extra for things like Stretch and Grow (which is basically gym class...for $25 a month) and Sports camp and computer classes...but these things get cancelled, or they refuse to let your child go for some unknown reason, or the outside group they hired to do these things never shows up. Why can't they do these things themselves? Why isn't it just included in what I already pay like it would be at other schools? And why don't I get a refund when none of this stuff actually happens? I am fed up with them. And then they decide to raise their tuition. What exactly am I paying for?!?!

Yes there have been some changes since the old director left but they have been great changes. My 2 kids love school, their teachers, learning, and creating. The teachers are wonderful, patient, and very caring of each and every child. They communicate and let the parents know if there is a problem or concern. I would definately recommend my friends to this school if they lived in the area. Don't let the negativity of an upset ex-employee keep your child from the best. It's better to weed out the bad ones than to let them rub off on other teachers and children. Thank you F.W. & S.S. you both are doing a wonderful job!!!

CCPS has been a blessing for our family. Our children (twins) have been spending their days there for four years. Not only have they flourished, but my husband & I have grown as parents as a direct result of the loving, Christ-centered environment. Cornerstone was the 4th daycare facility for our family, & quickly became much more than just a daycare for us. They are teaching & loving these children constantly. After our initial assessment, we honestly felt we had neglected our chilren prior to arriving at CCPS! For those of you who choose to degrade such a precious gift to our community, you should open your eyes to the world around you. CCPS is an extension of our parenting & love for our kids. The staff members are pursuing a special purpose every single day they go to work, & I assume, not making the money they could in corporate America. This is a wonderful choice they make everyday. For this, they need our support & encouragement. Thank you, Cornerstone Staff. You are loved & appreciated!

All of the comments about checking the CPS website... I did, and the offenses are not even enough to cause concern- and I have two small children enrolled there currently! My children look forward to going there, and they absolutely adore their teachers. The teachers truly love my children, and are always giving us warm and sincere compliments about our kids- as if they were their own! I have nothing but positive things to say about Cornerstone. I recommend Cornerstone very highly.

I HAVE BEEN AT CORNERSTONE FOR 14 YEARS. NOT ONLY DID I TEACH THERE, I GRADUATED FROM THERE. MY EDUCATION WAS FIRST CLASS AND I GRADUATED TOP OF MY CLASS FROM DBU. I SEND ONE OF MY CHILDREN TO CORNERSTONE AND ONE TO EAGLE ADVANTAGE ACADEMY. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF OR SEEN ANYTHING INAPPROPRIATE. I AM SURE EVERY DAYCARE OR SCHOOL HAS PROBLEMS, BUT I THINK PARENTS NEED TO GO SEE CORNERSTONE AND JUDGE FOR THEMSELVES. MY KIDS LOVE IT THERE AND SO DO I.
