Kinda sad

I went in yesterday for the first time in quite a while. I don't drink coffee so the front part doesn't much interest me. The gift and book store part was really pathetic. It looks like they're closing out the books and magazines. Shelves are really sparse. And not many gifts. I guess they can't compete with BN and online sales.

Best People Watching Spot on Cedar Springs Road

This is probably the largest community friendly bookstore remaining in the nation. The coffee shop is a great meeting place for coffee and desserts. Lots of seating inside and out on the patio. Free Wi-Fi too.

This is my favorite place to go and enjoy my evening on a stressful day. I love this little diner, along with a bookstore. Great place to sit back and read a great book over a delicious hot cocoa. They also specialize in different meals, plus a variety of books and a few items of essentials. Highly recommended.

This store has a nice selection of cards and gift items and a lot of books too. It is always busy and the cafe has yummy offerings at a good price. Be aware that there is offensive pornography freely displayed throughout the store. Not a place for children.

This special market caters to the gay and lesbian clientele. They also make a great cup of joe and have tasty treats to consume while you're reading a book you picked out while shopping on the other side of the store.
