I love it, I love it, I love it. I can't get enough of it!!

Love this place. It has a neighborhood feeling and a cross-section of men here. Leave your Dallas pretenses and "Dallatude" outside the entrance, because neither exists here as in other Dallas gay bars. Friendly crowd, and quality bartenders. This place feels more like a working man's gay bar and not the steno pool from Exxon/Mobil or counter help from Dillards.

Nice place to go hang out but do not take your car! Nothing to say bad about the bar but your car is not safe even at the front door. They have cameras on the parking lot but do not record? In 3 years my car was broke into twice and hit twice by the drunks that leave. Today my car was broken into at 4 in the afternoon with many people in the parking lot.I am not the only one that I know that has had thier cars broken into. This bar makes enough money to atleast provide security or update thier camera system to record so they can protect thier patrons.What's next, people will start getting robbed going to thier cars? My honest opinion is the owner is to cheap to give a shit!‎

The Door is a nice place to get away from the main gay bar strip . A lot less attitude than some of the other gay bars I've been in although on some of the club nights or when there is a run going on , you will get a lot of obnoxious drunks so check out the bar schedule before you go in case you dont want all that grabassy crap in your face. There is an outdoor patio which allows smoking as is where everyone hangs out and cruises. And lastly, this is mainly a bear bar - if your unfamiliar with the term bear, it means hairy and fat - usually obese. So if your looking to pick someone up ,unless you like obese hairy guys - I would recommend another place and just go to the door for good drinks and to just relax.‎
