I've had an excellent experience at Hope Church. I've met friendly people who are serious about following Jesus and who have helped me learn how to walk with God and grow as a Christian. My husband and I had our first child two years ago, and Thrive, Hope's group for moms of preschoolers, has been such an encouragement and a help to me. In that group I've been able to share the ups and downs of motherhood with other women who are experiencing similar challenges, and have gotten practical and Biblical instruction on how to be a better mom to my son. Attending Thrive has made a real difference in my life; I know that I have better parenting skills than I would've had if I were just trying to do this whole parenting thing on my own. I also feel challenged to persevere in really raising my son in a way that honors God.
