Overcooked and tasteless!
I'm sorry but no amount of smiles and cheerful hellos can make their food taste good. I ordered the 2.99 special all you can eat. My first time here and it will be my last. The pasta was so overcooked it was limp and tasteless and couldn't hold its form. The marinara sauce had no flavor so after adding parmesan cheese, pepper seeds and pepper i was able to actually eat it. The meatballs were cheap store bought and again tasteless. The italian sausage as far as I was concerned didn't even touch real italian sausage. The only thing I could enjoy was the bread. When asked if I wanted another plate I quickly stated "NO!". I'm italian and to even try to pass this food off as italian is disrespectful to any italian. Shame on you!

The new owners and chefs...
The new owners and chefs have transformed this place into a great Italian restaurant without an expensive menu. The weekday lunch special is ver yummi and costs $5 plus your beverage. Try the canelloni or calzone ...

I have eaten here twice. The first time, I ordered all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs It was acceptable for a low-end restaurant serving the swill that passes for Italian food in Fort Worth.
The second, and most assuredly the last, time I had the misfortune to dine here, I ordered spaghetti with sausage. Obviously, in an Italian restaurant, you expect to get Italian sausage with this dish, right? Oh, no. Can you believe it had SMOKED SAUSAGE in it? Incredible! I was shocked. These operators do not have a clue about Italian food. You would do much better getting some frozen Stouffer's from the grocery store, really.
I am totally astounded by the good reviews this place has here. On the other hand, on both my visits, their clientele looked like they had been referred by a food bank serving the mentally deficient. No lie. Go see for yourself.
So, I highly recommend that you go and eat here once for two reasons:
1. To be absolutely shocked by the food. service, and ambiance.
2. To gain an appreciation for real Italian cuisine.
Good luck, and let me know if you need a great deal on a stomach pump for you and your family.
Bony appetites...
