Bad luck or bad service?
I bought a 2007 Jeep Commander in May 2009. The brakes started knocking when I applied them a few days after I got it home. I called they agreed to fix it, needless to say I have had it back three times and the problem still isn't fixed. That is taking off work and driving 45 minutes to get to the car lot with two kids. I give up, when I called the third time, they said they are going to have a supervisor ride with me to hear the problem, like I was crazy. My father drove the vehicle, my husband and we all notice this problem so how hard is it. In early July I left work heading home and all the lights in the dash came on my gauges all went down it was showing I was driving 0 MPH all the lights (ex. service engine, low oil all the things that scare you to death) I called and talked to a serviceman and he said that I didn't have a warranty to cover it and they would look at it and let me know what it will cost to fix it. Mind you I had only had the car two months at this point. I said I thought it was covered under factory warranty up to 36,000 miles he advised it was but this problem isn't covered. I asked him to transfer me to a sales manager. He did and wouldn't you know they were all in a meeting. I was transfered to a salesman I told him I was very angry because I have only had the vehicle two months at this point I explained to him all that was going on. He made a joke out of it (I wasn't laughing) I didn't have the money to fix an electrical issue. He said he would have a manager call me back and that is the last I heard and this is August. Do you think they will call? My car still does this when I start it all the lights in dash come on, it dings three times and all my gauges drop. This is what I got $22,000.00 later. I am very angry! I feel like they could have done more to help.
