child hurt repeatedly
my 1 yr old was hurt 2x in 1 week. the first time he had scratches on his face and 3 on his arm. incident report filed and was told another childs nails needed to be cut. took to doctor was told he was fine but to watch for staph. 2 days later i picked him up and the director keisha ask me on the way out if he had bruises. well he looked fine upon appearance. got home and he had a 2 inch black bruise on the back of his leg. called director and she told me she wasn't going to hear about that. no incident report was filed this time. took back to the doc, said he was either hit or he fell. when i took him back they no longer wanted to watch him becuz i kept taking him to the doc and now he was a liablility. director admitted she knew about bruise (obvioulsy that is why she asked), guess she was hoping i wouldn't catch it in enough time to know it came from their facility. when asked why i wasn't contacted immediatley she had no comment. she stated that she wasn't going to continuously watch the baby room even tho that is her job. when i called her the day of incident to let her know that my child was going back to the doctor and that it appeared to be a deep bruise, she laughed. there was only four other babies in the room that day so why wasn't the babies being watched better? on another occasion i picked him up and he had been in a dirty diaper to the point he had a rash. one day i picked him up and none of his milk, that i measure and take myself, had been offered it was still in the original containers and the bottle water i provide was unopen. he was starving when i got him in car for ride home, he nursed for over ten minutes. it is a terrible thing when a parent hwo sees to their child's medical needs can't go to a daycare that refuses to watch them becuz they keep getting hurt! granted i am glad god closed that door before something really bad happend to my son. they did the right thing the first time but tried to cover up the second incident. something is not right at this daycare.
