Well I thought it would be good
Well I try to keep an open mind to these reviews and want to believe that you can't believe everything you hear, man was I WRONG on this one!
Some friends and I wanted to get together at the end of Valentines day and have a drink, so I heard about this spot from a friend that went. I figured it would be ok since he got in (btw he is a white guy) and had a good time, but I read in reviews that it was not so good for ethnic people. We walked to the door, there was no line, the bouncer stated that we needed to have table reservations and that it was too full. I immediately had an issue with it, but my friends said "Forget it" and we walked away. We decided to go up to the Iron Cactus and I went on the ledge to take in the sights, low and behold I could see the entrance into the club we were just rejected from entering. I saw so many people, all white, get in without any checking at all. I saw this one black guy that basically paid this white lady for him to follow her in the club! Naturally i was appaulled! I thought, I have on nice and trendy clothes, I am attractive, intellegent, and so are my friends, then I knew it was purely racism.
Bouncers please note something for me, your nothing but a DOORMAN, you don't matter! I guess you have to pay your rent in your crappy apartment and beat up car from bribes from ethnic people...wow you should feel good about yourself. We can go anywhere else and have a great time. You should have a backbone and tell the truth why you are turning people away maybe I could respect you more.
Do yourself a favor and take my word for it, I am not a close-minded person I love all types of people, except for IGNORANT ones. The Doormen are IGNORANT and even though they dont matter in the eyes of society, its shameful that we have to experience this blatent display of bigotry. Dont go unless you dont like diversity!
