Unethical and Rude
I am not even a resident of Power Properties and have nothing good to say about them. I have a family member who lives at 6011 which is next door to their management office 5923 Gaston. I heard from Lacey Goosen for the first time around 7/10/2012 when she called expressing concern that she had not heard from my family member and said the rent was past due. Then she informed me that they had started eviction process. I explained that the family member works for a company that sends them to many locations nationally and internationally and it might take a little while for me to reach them. Anyway, I paid the rent for my family member, but I had to overnight it so that it would be there before the eviction was final. I have documentation of the phone calls and emails from Lacey. I have proof of delivery and payment.

10/15/2012 I heard from Lacey Goosen again. This time she left me a voice message since I was in meetings. Her call came in around 10:30 am I returned her call at 3 PM and discovered from Ragu that she had left. The message that Lacey left was that she was filing an eviction. Ragu provided me the amount after I had to firmly tell him I wanted the dollar amount and no lip from him. Then I called another family member who is caring for an alzheimer patient and asked if they could stop by the office and pick up a check from me and take to one of our banks for a cashier check and then overnight it to Power Properties. The cashier check was delivered via FedX before 10:30 am on 10/16/2012. The evening of 10/15/2012 I discovered that Lacey Goosen had also emailed me with a copy of the ledger and brief comment that she had filed eviction. The dollar amount due didn't match the amount that Ragu had verbally provided me over the phone. I sent Lacey and email in response to her email and provided the Fedx tracking information and cashier check number. I also let her know I didn't appreciate the calls coming at the zero hour. PP Management
I have worked with PP for almost 10 years, and know the management team members try very hard to please their tenants and take their responsibility seriously. Over the years some tenants and vandals have slipped thru into our communities that should never have been granted the privilege. It is a two way street, and my experience over the years is given time they work hard. The units are not new but have character and this side of town has charm. Yes, protect yourself and be vigilant for all of us. The amount of complainers vs. the good tenants/units far outweighs any criticism. Respect our community and you will in turn be respected back, in kind. Don't tell me how poorly you communicate your problems because there are 100 happy tenants to your one gripe. Send your complaints and issues to the office, and ask for a timely response. Be a good neighbor and they will take care of you, in my experience. Thank you~

Worst Management Ever
WE have lived in 2 of their properties and the management is just corrupt. We had an extreme mold issue in out last unit and had to move out for 18 days while a patch was put on the situation. We were told in both voice and writing we could move out with no fees or penalties. After we moved out they tried to charge us to breaking the lease. Not having a place to live and having to use OUR insurance, they had already broken the lease, yet they have sent us to collections. We have filed complaints with the State and City Attorney Generals. Never rent from this company, you will live to regret it.

I moved in in Dec of 2007 and have loved it. I moved from Austin Ranch in Addison. The area was a little new to me and I was not sure if I would like it. Power has been great as well as he neighborhood. I like having such unique place to live instead of a 400 unit complex
