Speedzone is a racing-themed amusement park spreading across 12 acres. The Grand Prix is my favorite ride. Other good rides are the Top Eliminator drag strip, the Turbo Track and Slick Trax sprint racers. Speeding is legal here, and watch out for road rage.

I took my sons to Speedzone last weekend and I do not like it at all. The service is at the best lukewarm. The two ladies there had stony faces and snapped whenever possible. Since my younger one is only seven and petite, he could only play video games. Oh, boy, was that expensive. Later a lady there told me the price now is way up than before. No wonder, a round of "Deal or No Deal" cost my son $5.00. And when we finally went to the prize claiming area, a sour punch candy costs about 150 tickets. Since there were only two packages left when my son went to redeem his tickets, the guys there were "discussing" how to cut the double package in half to make sure my 7-year-old only get one punch instead of two accidentally. It took them five minutes to find a scissors to do so. What scrutiny! I don't think I will ever take my family there again.‎

The attractions are great. Look for the specials. The prices are very high; too high. A one day visit will be costly. A season pass here is more expensive than a season pass at Six Flags! ...

Great place, fun for whole family. My wife and my 14 year old daughter loved the drag racing, and my 8 year old son was able to drive his first go cart. Service was amazing, rides were unbelievable, most fun we have had in a while. A must-do for all trips into the Dallas area.‎

I used to love going to Speedzone, but after this last visit I'm sure I will never go back unless they reopen there big race track. All of their video games should have been retired years ago or are not working. The large race track was closed for good so 35 could expand over it. The drag cars were no longer 70mph, now more like 40mph. Pretty lame! Oh and the prices are way up! I can't believe the nerve!‎
