I was some what apprehensive about going to Vision City bc of the negative reviews I read online prior to booking my appointment. However, the morning of my appointment, I went in to find the staff as well as Dr. Patel very friendly. It is extremely difficult for me to find lenses that work for me bc I have an astigmatism in both eyes. Dr. Patel spent an entire hour with me during my first visit to ensure that we found the right pair of lenses for me. On my follow up visit, she spent an additional 30 mintues with me. With all of that said, I have no complains about Visition City.‎

I am new to the DFW area and recently had my first visit to Vision City. Dr. Patel was wonderful, as were her assistant and receptionist. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment for a check up and glasses prescription update. Everything was done efficiently but thoroughly, and I was out the door before 10 a.m. I ordered a new pair of glasses from the optical shop at Vision City. This experience probably deserves four stars instead of five- the lady working in the optical shop was not very friendly at first, but maybe she was just having a bad morning. Also, I am price sensitive, and most if not all of the frame brands that Vision City carries are high dollar. (Don't get me wrong--- they are also very high quality.) I think all said and done, I spent about $200 on frames and about another $200 on glare resistant, scratch resistant, top of the line lenses for the frames. Dr. Patel and Staff, I just wanted to take a quick moment to leave a message that contradicts many of the messages on this review board. I think that many of these people that wrote these reviews are confused on where they actually were since their words are completely opposite of my families experience over the years! Anyhow, I want to thank you for fitting me in my FIRST Gucci frames this past week. I am not one that has to have "designer" frames, but when you took time to show me a look you felt "looked like me", I was so happy to find them! I have never had so many compliments!! I had to unfortunately change my appointment a couple of times and your staff was so accomodating! They also took time to give me some pricing based on "my" insurance so I had no surprises. I don't usually write reviews, but this years exam and fitting was so awesome, I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks. I appreciate all of you! Joyce H.‎

FINALLY!! A conveniently located, classy, professional eye center in Las Colinas! My wife and I wanted something a step above the normal Eye Masters, Pearle, Lenscrafters, etc! When we stepped into Vision City almost 2 years ago we knew we had found it! You get a great selection of unique frames that you won't see everyone else wearing! And when it comes to SERVICE AFTER THE SALE, there is no better eye care center. I drop in 3 or 4 times throughout the year to get my glasses adjusted and they are always ready to help. The first time I went, I couldn't see well at all, but I could see well enough to know I was in good hands! As long as I live in the DFW area, this is one place my eyes will visit yearly! Website very misleading. Unhappy with prices, selection, and customer service. I was just ignored and tricked. They were nice people including the doctor. I purchased a Groupon for myself and 4 other people. I feel so badly, because I did not check out the business first. My guest went 1st and they were unhappy, too. My experience with Groupon has been outstanding, so this is the first time I was very unhappy with the bait and switch type service. The coupon was supposed to cover the exam and a pair of glasses. I had to wait 30mins for service after the exam to be fitted for glasses when there was only one customer being helped in the lobby with 3 staffers sitting around the corner; they gave me three DOG choices for glasses, and couldn't find the price for the one I picked. The lady really tried to force me into a pair of over priced glasses. They should have increased their offer to the public such as $150 to cover a median pair of glasses instead of $50 for the deal and try to ...
